Arter CNC Model E Recognized in IMA Made In Illinois Poster

ROCKFORD, IL - For the fourth time in five years, an Obsidian Manufacturing Industries, Inc. product has been featured on the Illinois Manufacturing Association’s (IMA) annual 'Made in Illinois' poster, which highlights products made in Illinois.
The IMA is BOLDLY MOVING MAKERS FORWARD and teams up with Nicor Gas and IMEC Illinois to make the poster happen each year. The manufacturing industry in Illinois boasts a workforce of 650,000 employees, according to the 2024 annual IMA report and contributes the largest share of the state’s economy. The Arter CNC Model E precision surface grinder is joined by 44 other products on this year’s poster, including USPS Postal Uniforms made by National Safety Apparel in Chicago, Adhesive Dots by Chicago Glue & Machine, and Monofilament Vaporization Propulsion Thruster System by CU Aerospace LLC in Champaign.

The CNC Model E is a high-precision surface grinder, known for rigidity and longevity, and combined with CNC controls, gives manufacturers unparalleled control over tight tolerance surface grinding.
