Used HC-96 Electromagnetic Chuck
Last year we took in a used 96” diameter rotary electromagnetic chuck on trade. It is a Type II Magna-Lock USA Rotary Electromagnetic Chuck and has a work surface of 96” with a height of 5.300”, pole spacing for magnetic separator is .75”, non-magnetic separator is .25” with a total pitch of 1.00”, 5750 Watts, 230 VDC and the weight is approximately 9350 lbs. The top plate life is at approximately 50%. This is an excellent opportunity to move up your capacity on your Mattison grinder or to acquire a spare magnet for when your large capacity needs service. Can rebuild or will sell as is to quickly free up the space in our shop. Inquire for more pics, pricing, and lead time on rebuild. A rebuild would include our industry leading 2 -year warranty.

HC-24 electromagnetic chuck - excess inventory
This chuck has been in the Arter Grinders excess inventory for many years. We acquired it when we purchased the brand in April 2018. To our knowledge, it has never been used. The customer changed their mind on the top plate configuration and Centro-Metalcut, Inc. replaced the chuck for them and kept this one thinking they would put it on another grinder. We have offered this “used” magnet before and had two takers, but they backed out due to voltage and top plate configuration (again!). This chuck could work on just about any grinder if necessary, it is not Arter exclusive! And it’s a Magna-Lock brand chuck, so we got you covered there too.
